Natural landscapes

Pure nature: Redován is located at the foot of an impressive mountain, full of life, of natural charm. The mountain range allows many walks and possibilities for which you can count on the help of the mountaineers of the locality.

The beautiful views from any strategic point of the extensive mountain, show us green extensions of rich and productive orchard, composed of innumerable tracts of land planted with vegetables and fruit trees, which open from east to west of the municipality. And mulberry trees, olive trees and palm trees of restless presence, that surround with murmurs of breeze the peace of the surroundings.

Redován presents a contrasting landscape. It is located in a privileged area on the left bank of the river Segura. In its most fertile plain intense cultivations of citrus fruits and vegetables are developed. In contrast to the orchard there are some areas of rainfed that thanks to the opening of wells and the conduits of irrigation of the transfer begin to become optimum land for cultivation.

This natural landscape is marked by the country houses. The irrigation ditch leads the water of traditional irrigation that has given life to these lands so thirsty. For a few years, the irrigation canal has been used as a conduit for water from the “El Escorratel” well, which continues to irrigate the orchard lands through the flood system. However many plots of rainfed are modernizing their farms and introducing drip irrigation, which is much more profitable in the medium and long term.

We recommend following the marked paths and paths, they are paths of the Valencian Community. The routes are short but exciting and from them you can see some views, some landscapes that those who love nature repeat them for their beauty intact.
