IES Jaime de Sant-Ángel

1.- CREATION.

The IES Jaime de Sant-Ángel de Redován began his career in the 2003/04 academic year under the name of Secondary Education Section IES Vega Baja de Redován, whose creation, by transformation of the existing Secondary Education Section, was made public with the Decree 204/2005, of December 16 (DOGV of 22/12/2005). Once all administrative procedures have been completed, in the 2009/10 academic year, IES Jaime de Sant Ángel was renamed, as ratified by Resolution of November 9, 2009 of the Department of Education.

2.- TEACHINGS.

The IES Jaime de Sant-Ángel is a center in which different levels of education are taught: ESO, Baccalaureate, as well as an Initial Professional Qualification Program (PCPI) of Auxiliary Operations of Administration and Management.

1st cycle ESO:
1st: 3 groups with a total of 64 students.
2nd: 3 groups with a total of 77 students.

2nd cycle ESO:
3rd: 3 groups with a total of 61 students.
4th: 2 groups with a total of 58 students.

High school:
1º: 1 mixed group (modality of Humanities and Social Sciences and modality of Sciences and Technology) with 38 students.
2nd: 2 groups (one of the Humanities and Social Sciences and another one of the Science and Technology modality) with a total of 41 students.

PCPI: 1 group with 15 students.

3.- PERSONAL AND SPECIALTIES.

Teaching staff: it is made up of forty-two professors from different specialties: English, French, Philosophy, Religion, Spanish Language, Valencian Language, Psychopedagogy, Therapeutic Pedagogy, Speech Therapy, Technology, Physical Education, Plastic and Visual Education, Geography and History, Mathematics , Latin and Greek, Biology and Geology, Physics and Chemistry, Music and Information Technology.

Non-teaching staff: two subordinates (one resident and one non-resident) and one administrative one form.

4.- INSTALLATIONS.

IES Jaime de Sant-Ángel has twelve general classrooms, a meeting room, a teacher’s room, a cafeteria, a classroom-workshop for Technology, a library, a drawing room, three multipurpose classrooms, Biology and Geology laboratories, and Physics and Chemistry, Music classroom, Computer room, covered polideportivo pavilion, outdoor polideportiva court, in addition to offices, storerooms, toilets and changing rooms.

5.- TIMETABLE.

General schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to 08:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Administration hours for public service: 09:00 – 14:00 hours.
