The Councilor for Social Welfare, Women and the Elderly, Nely Ruiz, has announced the activities organized by the City Council of Redován and the La Vega Mancomunidad on the occasion of the commemoration of March 8, International Women’s Day, under the title ‘Juntas Redován’. Throughout the month of March “the women of our locality will be able to enjoy different workshops and activities oriented to get to know each other and to empower themselves, as well as to highlight the importance of women in our municipality,” the mayor explained.

Redován 28/02/2019. La concejala de Educación, Servicios Sociales y Fiestas, Nely Ruiz, ha hecho hoy balance del mandato en las diferentes áreas que gestiona. Entre ellas ha destacado que Educación “es un área fundamental y la base donde se asienta todo el crecimiento de un pueblo y la mejor herramienta de cambio para avanzar”. En este sentido la edil ha defendido las inversiones realizadas y resaltado que Redován fue uno de los primeros municipios en adherirse al plan Xarxa llibres del que se invirtieron 99.142,66 euros de los que 34.000 euros los aportó el Ayuntamiento para la adquisición de libros.
La concejala ha asegurado que “hemos apostado por la jornada continua, invirtiendo de 3.200 euros el primer año a 9.000 euros el último para la contratación de tres monitores. Asimismo 59 familias se han beneficiado de las becas de material escolar para el segundo ciclo de infantil con un importe de 5.000 euros.
Respecto a los centros educativos, en el Colegio Público Sagrados Corazones se ha reformado la pérgola del lucernario, acondicionado los aseos y vestuarios y restaurado la pista polideportiva. “En el patio hemos incorporado juegos infantiles e instalado cuatro canastas de básquet, así como la construcción de un almacén, y también hemos invertido 13.000 euros en la instalación de aire acondicionado”, ha afirmado Ruiz. En la Escuela Infantil Pasitos, también se han llevado adecuaciones en el mobiliario. La edil ha recordado que “hemos tramitado toda la documentación necesaria para adherirnos al Plan Edificant y con ello vamos a reformar el colegio Sagrados Corazones y a acometer la construcción del aulario del IES Jaime de Sant Ángel.
Por otro lado, la también responsable del área de Fiestas ha querido destacar de la concejalía las diferentes actuaciones como los concursos durante las fiestas patronales de ‘Selfies’ y Disfraces o la Fiesta de Colores, siendo “el primer Ayuntamiento en traer este evento a la comarca de la Vega Baja”. La edil ha asegurado que “el compromiso de esta concejalía ha sido siempre la unión de todos los festeros, por ello junto con la Junta Central Festera retomamos la entrada de bandas consiguiendo revalorizar un día importante como es el desfile de peñas y barracas”.
Ruiz ha destacado el impulso a actividades y eventos que fomentan las costumbres del municipio como los teatros infantiles y también campañas en favor de la tolerancia y el respeto como #ConTalento, que “con el objetivo de sensibilizar contra el alcohol, igualmente que la campaña #NoTienesMiPermiso, que ha ayudado a sensibilizar a nuestra sociedad ante la importancia de valores tan necesarios como el respeto, educación, libertad y valentía”, ha afirmado la edil.
Estas últimas campañas corresponden a los Servicios Sociales que en Redován se prestan a través de la Mancomunidad La Vega, un ente del que forma parte la localidad junto a los municipios de Algorfa, Jacarilla y San Miguel de Salinas “que nos permite compartir proyectos y gastos de manera que podemos ofrecer a la ciudadanía servicios que por parte del Ayuntamiento de Redován en solitario sería imposible ofrecer o muy caros”. Ruiz ha destacado en estos cuatro años las mejoras en las instalaciones de Servicios Sociales en la Casa del Reloj en cuya primera planta se ubica la sede de la Mancomunidad y la mejora de los servicios “con más días de atención e incremento de servicios como la Agencia de Igualdad, Servicio de Inclusión Social, Adisex Jove y próximamente el área de juventud y ocio educativo”.
En cuanto a los servicios que se prestan “el incremento del gasto que ha llegado a los 228.267,60 euros, ha permitido atender 1.151 expedientes de ayudas para familias”, y la edil también ha indicado que se ha incrementado el personal “para hacer una atención más integral y especializada”. Nely Ruiz ha comentado que el aumento de servicios y personal no ha supuesto que suba de manera considerable el gasto del Ayuntamiento “ya que las subvenciones que recibe la Mancomunidad de la Conselleria ha aumentado un 323%, alcanzando los 559.840 euros en 2018”.
De este modo la atención se ha extendido a todos los colectivos con apoyo a la dependencia, atención a domicilio, actividades para personas mayores, talleres dirigidos exclusivamente a mujeres e iniciativas como la ‘areola solidaria’ de apoyo a las mujeres con cáncer de mama. Para terminar, Ruiz ha dado cuenta de los servicios de atención social específica a través del Equipo de Intervención con Infancia y Adolescencia; la Oficina Pangea de Atención a Personas Migrantes; la Unidad de Prevención Comunitaria de Conductas Adictivas; el Servicio de Atención Jurídica; Agencia de Igualdad; Servicio para la Prevención e Inclusión Social y Servicio de Atención a la Diversidad y Sexualidad para Jóvenes.

Esta mañana, ha sido presentada por el Presidente de la Mancomunidad la Vega y alcalde de Redován, Emilio Fernández, las acciones que la Mancomunidad la Vega ha programado con motivo del 25N, Día de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra las Mujeres. Las acciones de este año se centran en la campaña “El club de los hombres que saben querer”. Esta campaña es una invitación a los hombres a adoptar nuevas maneras de relacionarse con el otro género, de forma respetuosa, madura e igualitaria en el trato y en las relaciones. Hablamos del ejercicio de una nueva masculinidad, de un cambio de rol masculino libre de estereotipos y sin el corsé del machismo, de un modelo de relación con el otro género basado en el respeto, la confianza, el apoyo y la igualdad.
Es por lo tanto, una invitación a todos los hombres para que se comprometan y adopten una posición firme y activa en la lucha contra la violencia hacia las mujeres, una lucha que también es cosa de los hombres. En el marco de este programa, se ha elaborado una campaña de sensibilización, bajo el lema Unete al Club de los Hombres que Saben Querer que se refuerza con Tips asociadas a la campaña para redes sociales. Se editará un video protagonizado por hombres que nos hablan como es el hombre que sabe querer. Esta acción de participación se complementa con una minisite www.elclubdeloshombresquesabenquerer.com, que se actualizará para ser un espacio compartido que incluya recursos y contenidos sobre nuevas masculinidades y se pueda registrar el compromiso delos hombres en la lucha contra la violencia de género
Otra de las realidades a las que se quiere dar respuesta, es a la alta incidencia de violencia detectada en los jóvenes, sobretodo de la violencia de control (el 38 % de chicas con pareja entre 16 y 24 años reconocen haberla sufrido), violencia control que se ha visto favorecida y agravada por las redes sociales Para ello se van a realizar dos talleres educativos para secundaria. El taller “El hombre que sabe querer” para alumnos de 4º ESO y 1º Bat de los IES de San Miguel y de Redován y el taller “No me toques el Whassap” para los alumnos de 2º dela ESO.
Esta propuesta se completa con una jornada de arte urbano contra la violencia de género en la que 3 artistas del graffitti van a realizar en vivo su interpretación del lema de la campaña. Durante la elaboración de los murales se contará con una cantante rapera que aportará su versión a través de canciones inéditas en clave feminista. Será el día 25 de noviembre en la plaza del Ayuntamiento de Redován y el 1 de diciembre en el paseo de San Miguel de Salinas. La complejidad de un fenómeno como violencia de género ha de abordarse con una visión integral y transversal, desde esa perspectiva se han organizado las Jornadas Violencia de Género, Una Mirada Integral que se celebrarán el 30 de noviembre en el Centro Social y Cultural Ricardo Ruiz Poveda de Redován en el que se van a exponer experiencias de abordaje e intervención desde diferentes enfoques y con expertos del ámbito educativo, judicial, asistencial y mediático. La inscripción es gratuita y la pueden realizar a través de la web de la mancomunidad
Asimismo se van a realizar acciones complementarias como la representación de la obra de teatro Nora y la Casa de Muñecas de Ibsen, posiblemente la primera obra feminista de la historia (se realiza en los cuatro municipios con el apoyo de la Diputación de Alicante) y la experiencia del uso de animales en las terapias de atención a mujeres del proyecto ESCAN presentado por Afammer el jueves 22 de noviembre en Redován. Estas acciones organizadas por la Agencia de Igualdad de la Mancomunidad se complementan con acciones municipales como la adhesión al Manifiesto contra la violencia de género de la FVMP que será aprobado en los plenos municipales y la colocación de pancartas en los Ayuntamientos con motivo del 25 de noviembre. Para Emilio Fernández, Presidente de la Mancomunidad, “esta programación es una buena muestra del intenso trabajo de la Mancomunidad en la lucha contra la violencia de género, un trabajo que va más allá del 25N y que se lleva a cabo durante todo el año con otras iniciativas como la campaña contra el acoso callejero #notienesmipermiso. Luchar para la eliminación de la violencia contra las mujeres, apoyar a las mujeres victimas de esta lacra y a sus familia , es un compromiso y un deber que nos toca como administración y en la que vamos a seguir dedicando todos los esfuerzos y recursos que estén en nuestras manos”.
Las acciones del proyecto del Club de los Hombres que Saben Querer han sido financiadas con ayuda de la Obra Social la Caixa. Las Jornadas de Violencia de Género, una mirada integral han contado con el apoyo de la Caja Rural Central y de Iovis Abogados.
